CHAFE GUARDS
Winter weather means increased wear on mooring lines.
To protect those critically important and expensive safety items, Cape Hatteras Products offers a new and imporved chafe guard suitable for line sizes up to 3/4".
Ruggedly built of heavy, mildew-resistant polyester, the chafe guard features a Velcro closing strip along its entire 14" length.
It also has an internal Velcro strip that grips the line itself, keeping it from moving out of position.
It really works!
The guards come in several colours, and are packaged two to a set for about $20.

"FENDER SNAPS
Cape Hatteras Products has the best fender clips we've ever found.
Available in black or white plastic, the molded plastic Fender Snaps are "split" so they clip instantly over railings or lifelines - a 90-degree twist and they unclip.
We have ours preset to accommodate most docks, with the clips kept secured to the fender hangers.
They are literally a snap to unclip and clip onto the railing.
Fender Snaps come in pacikages of two for under $20, and as local distrubution grows, they should e available at most marine retailers in time for the Vancouver boat show next month.
